2001 Jeep Cherokee Oil Pressure gauge

All of a sudden, after driving my jeep for about 20-30 minutes, every time the car starts to stop the oil pressure gauge will go from a little above normal to 0 causing the check gauges light to come on. what could it possibly be? my husband has checked the oil and its not dirty, and is not low.

Sounds like the oil pressure switch if not could be the oil pump pressure relief valve sticking-try engne flush might help
