2001 Jeep Cherokee oil pressure drop when warm

i have a problem with my jeep grand cherokee when I have run the car for some time the oil pressure seems very low and brings on the check gauges light on the dash. Is a oil pump proplem im having and how much would it cost to repair?

Hello, I have heard of cam bearings causing low oil pressure. I'd use a mechanical pressure gage to double the reading, if you haven't already. The cost would depend on the problem. Different shops charge different labor rates.
