See my profile. My buddy had similar issue with his truck.

We thought at 1st it was the belt, then alternator bearings. After spending over $100.

I made a STUPID suggestion to ear plug 1 ear, and stick a 2 ft. piece of 3/8 fuel line in the other.

He used it like a stethoscope, and found a vacuum leak just behind the air intake of the engine.

The gasket was acting like a duck call.

He replaced the gasket and used "Indian Head Gasket Sealer" to seal it.

Hope this helped.

Love, Turddog
