While driving, I can hear a whinning noise and once I have come to stop, the noise is gone. I'm just going on a hunch that its a tranny problem, I guess it could also be a wheel bearing but was looking for a little help before I call and argue with the dealership again and my warranty is up in about 2 weeks. Any ideas as the problem?

This may or may not help you, but my 2001 Jeep G.C. had a whining noise when I accelerated or turned the wheel. That was my power steering pump going out.
