Every engine is different due to the bearing clearance in every engine is different. Rule of thumb is you should not be below about 10 psi when hot at idle. Just because your oil pressure is lower or higher than your buddy with the same engine, does not mean there is a problem. I hope this helps. Please give feedback if I have helped you.
