I have replaced the thermostat numerous times, flushed the radiator twice and just don't know what else to do. I took the thermostat completely out yesterday and today it started to run higher than the norm still. I have to run the heater to keep it to 220 degrees. I also replaced the electric fan and it does work. On occasion the overflow tank will spill out leaving the radiator itself almost empty. Any ideas? I appreciate it.

I have the same problem with jeep. It gets overly hot, have to run A/C to keep it below 210. After shut down all the coolant (boils) overflows through the reservoir bottle, or when the car is idling in Park. So did this work. Because I replaced all my cooling system components like the first guy (water pump, thermostat, new electric cooling fan, flushed radiator, coolant temp sensor, radiator cap, etc.
