2000 Jeep Cherokee Alarm System

hi alex. you won,t be able to disable the alarm.
unless you can get your hands on a factory schematic.and even then very hard to do.i wish i could help more but maybe one of the jeep guys here will add something billymac

How do I disable the alarm?[/quote:fb98df7632] i have a 94 cherokee,with the same problem.most of the time when useing the tailgate alarm would go off.the tailgate latch was very loose. i tightened it down,,,,, END OF PROBLEM... hope this helps you..
