My air won't switch when I change the settings from the defroster to AC. It won't change at all on where I can feel the air come out of the vents on the front. The air will only come out of the vent at the front windshield even if you put it on any of the other settings on the dial.

It will be either the blending door motor (responsible to switch the air from defrost, to floor, to face, etc.) Or the blending door itself got stuck.

Where is the blending door located at?Is it under the dash.I had one guy tell me that it might be a vacuum hose off of the manifold.

I found the blending door and it works. But I went to the drivers side and looked up under the dash and seen a plastic arm. When I moved it up the air started blowing out of the other vents. When I pushed it up and let it go, it slowly fell back to the down position. It would not stay where it was suppose to stay. What is this called
