I am working on this 1999 Jeep and it will not start. I have checked all fuses, relays, grounds, and battery voltage all are ok. I have replaced the engine computer with a used one and I am still having the same problem. But, I am not sure if the used one was any good. Where is the ASD relay or fuel pump relays? James

Here is a guide to help you check the relays with the ASD and fuel pump relay location in the diagrams below.

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

My jeep all of a sudden wouldn't start the battery was good and we thought it was the fuel pump. We replaced that and it still won't work. There is no power getting to the coil, distributer. We have been told by several people that it could be an asd relay. Any ideas of the problem please

The asd relay or circuits could be a possibility? Have you tried checking for possible mil codes? The dark green wire with orange tracer is primary voltage to the coil. That wire should be hot with engine cranking. Try this to check for mil codes. When cycling the key, you don't crank it, just turn till dash lites come on.

New cam shaft sensor, rotor, cap, crankshaft sensor no spark at distributor and no voltage at the gas tank for the fuel pump. Could it be the ECM or the auto shut down relay? Where is the brain located?
I got the jeep not running, so said it just died on them and they thought it ran out of gas.
I figure if I know what I'm looking for I can just
find a brain box at a junk that will work.

Are you aware there will only be voltage to the fuel pump for one second after turning on the ignition switch? After that, the voltage should come back during engine rotation, (cranking or running). A quick and easy test is to measure the voltage on the small ignition coil wires. See if it is there both times or just for that first second.
