how do i replace my water pump

Drain the coolant. There's a drain plug on the bottom of the radiator. Before removing the belt, undo the nuts holding the fan on. (4).. Remove the fan shroud and fan(s). Remove the belt. Disconnect the lower radiator hose and heater hose. Remove the idler pulley for the belt if it's in the way of the metal tube that the heater hose connects to. Remove the bolts attaching the pump to the block. Clean the block surface where the pump attaches. Install a NEW gasket on the new pump and reverse the procedure for installation.
