There is leakage of the power steering fluid. Jeep dealership is relaying that the power steer pump needs replaced. My concern is that the vehicle is nearly 10 years old and only need the car to last another 3 months before I donate to charity. Do I need to replace the power steering pump? Thank you.

How bad is it leaking? If it is pouring out, then yes it should be replaced. If you lose power assist while driving it could cause an accident. Have them reasess the value of it when you donate to include new parts/repairs
