Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1999 Jeep Cherokee 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

When first starting, a knock when I start the vehicle and then when I turn it right back off, as I drive there is a real bad knocking coming from drive shaft area maybe even front axle. Replaced u joints on front drive shaft front wheel bearings new brakes what else can I do?

Do you hear the knock when the vehicle is sitting still and in park?

Okay, that eliminates the engine. If you replaced the wheel bearings, CV joints, brakes... there really isn't anything other. Unless, the differential is having issues and not releasing the 4wd. Does it ever seem as if the 4wd is still engaged?
