1999 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE TRYING TO REPLACE KEY AND TUMBLER IN FRIENDS JEEP AND AM CONFUSED IN RELATION TO THE AIR BAG IS THERE ANY SPECIAL INSTRUCTION TO DISARMING THE SYSTEM OR CAN I ACCESS THE TUMBLER BY NOT PULLING STEERING WHEEL.

theres hsould be a little hole on the tumbler housing that you can turn the key to on and insert a straighted paper clip and pull out the tumbler. you dont have to disarm the airbag.
