After getting 40miles into a full tank of gas, my Jeep start to sputter and act like it was out of gas. It died and wouldnt start again After being towed home I replaced the fuel filter. This allowed the Jeep to start, but now I have to keep the engine reved up because it dies at idle. It also is running extremely rough and backfires constantly, along with a newly developed knocking sound (Im told similar to what an engine does when it runs lean). Is my fuel pump the problem?

Could be leaning out due to low fuel pressure-check the fuel pressure with a gauge if its within specs-
