1999 Jeep Cherokee crankshaft position sensor

I have a 99 grand cherokee limited. codes point to a bad crankshaft position sensor. I bought one and can't find it on my vehicle! I would think it's on the block near the back of the engine? Can you guys tell me where it is?

your vehicle's crankshaft position sensor is on the left side of the transmission bellhousing.
