1999 Jeep Cherokee check engine

Stopped at a stop light my jeep cherokee sport reved up wouldn't go immediately when I pressed on the gas. It then after a couple of seconds went lunging a little and the check engine light remained on.

Take the vehicle to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer for trouble codes. IF the light is on, there will be a code stored that will help identify where the problem is coming from.
