My question

I live in Tennessee , where its cold right now and my battery is dead. For the last three days , I've started my car to keep the battery from freezing. Now that its dead , well I was thinking maybe I could unscew it and unplug it and bring it in the house and put it on a towel to warm it up gradually. I just need to make it to work for the next couple of days til I can get to autozone to replace it. jumping it off is out of the question when this is the only car and no neighbors. Does anybody have any ideas ?

Do you have a battery charger? Warming it may help a little, but it won't recharge it.

Let me know.

Thanks for replying Joe, no sir I do not have a battery charger. I'm just thinking the acid inside is frozen. From your experience, you wouldn't think it would explode as it thaws out and slightly starts to charge a little ? Especially from maybe a spark ?
