I changed my water pump today because it was making a loud noice and leaking pretty good. However after I buttoned everything up I still have a small ticking sound coming from the water pump.

What could this be? Do I need to try another pump? Or did I install something wrong?

Thank you for the help in advanced.

I say a bad pump. Was it brand new or a remanufactured pump? Either way you need to replace it again.

Yesterday I filled the radiator up with fuild and the noise when away. I guess maybe there was not enough fuild in the cooling system.

Thank you for your assitance anyway.

Thanks - Matt
