HOW IS THE EASIEST WAY TO REPLACE THE MOTOR MOUNTS IN '98 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE

Because you didn't list the engine, I will give you a general description.

Loosten the motor mount bolts and lift the engine to remove pressure from the mounts. Remove the bolts holding the mount to the engine and the frame and remove the mount. Reverse sequence to replace. NOTE: Do not lift the engine by placing a floor jack under the oil pan. Also, make sure the engine is secure before placing your hands anywhere they could get crushed if the engine would drop.
