1998 Jeep Cherokee has my cylinder head gasket blown?

after replacing my radiator after coolant loss my mechanic now tells me that the cylinder head gasket could have blown.The problem is there is no sign of oil in water and vice versa but the engine overheats very quickly when driven but not when idling.Any advice would be most appreciated

Do a compression test and let me know the results
