1998 Jeep Cherokee Clogged fuel injectors

at 124000 #6 and 8 injectors became clogged with what looks like bits of rubber. Replaced all injectors, ran fine for 300 miles and injectors clogged again, #6 and #8. Cleaned injectors flushed fuel rail and ran fin for 300 miles and noe check engin light is on again. What going on? Any one else have this problem? By the way a replacment rail from dealer is over $600.00.

there is obviously something inside the lines

it could be a rubber hose is starting to decompose.

there could be some old build up of gas varnish peeling away from the inside walls of the lines.

what about the fuel filter coming apart?
