My problem is when I come to a stop after driving for 10 to 20 minutes my oil level gage drops down to zero and once I start going it goes back up. My oil level is good, brand new oil and filter and my coolant is good. Is this normal? This is my first jeep. Any reply would be great.

Hi:
If the engine isn't knocking or tapping when it dropps to 0, then chances are it's the oil sending unit. They are easy to replace. It's located near the oil filter and all you do is unplug the wiring, and sending unit screws out with a wrench. Reverse the order to replace.

Chances are this will take care of the problem.

Let me know if it helps or if you have questions.

Joe
