Transmission problem
1997 Jeep Cherokee All Wheel Drive Automatic 208000 miles

I had a problem with the transmission not shifting properly then i found it had a leak in the o ring so it was replaced but still wouldn't shift correctly. replaced the filter and gasket. test drove it and in 1st gear it ran fine but would not shift to 2nd. stopped and put in neutral, started off in 1st gear, then tried to put into second. would not work. any ideas, up until the leak and slipping i have had no issues with the transmission.

Have the shift solenoids been replaced? Is the trans slipping now?
