Ok, there are a few different things and I don't know if they are related or not. First, the oil pressure is constantly low (below 40) second, the shifting is erratic, 2-3 gear sometimes has to goi up to 3000-4000RPM for it to shift, then iwhen up to 40mph it fluxuates back and forth between 3-4 gears. Now, it starts when it feels liike it - no ryme or reason. When I turn the key all the lighrs come on on the dash but nothing happens. I can jump it from the solenoid and it will start every time.

See my profile. Just saw your post was neglected, I MAY NOT HELP YOU. But I try. I know how it is when you can't use your baby.

Sorta like having your nose stuck against the ice cream shop window, 50 cents in hand, and can't reach the door handle, and nobody will come by and let you in.

TryPhisically (FOR REAL) removing, cleaning, and tightening back good and tight. NOT JUST LOOKING AND SAYING ITS OKAY ! ! ! !

Battery Clamps

Where wire clamps into battery clamps (inspect crimped or permanent connections)

Negative Battery Cable at its Engine/ frame termination.

All connections on the Solinoid aka Starter Relay

Look for (in other unknown locations, owners manual)fuses/ relays that are loose/ burnt/ in need of removal and installation just to verify it has good, not corroded contact.

Check and tighten any loose bolts at intake manifold.

You may even take it to Autozone or Advance Auto for FREE CODING. If Check Engine light is on. Or retrieve a stored code if it is off.

Like I said, Just trying to open the door for you, I can't reach it either. I'll try to give you a BOOST, I just hope you're not too heavy ! ! !

Let me know if the ice cream was good ! ! !

Love, Turddog
