1996 Jeep Cherokee power lockes

The driver side door is hard to open, with the key and, with the power locks. You have to hit the switch a couple of time, in oder for the driver side door to unlock. what causes this problem?

It may require something as simply lubericating the linkage and tumbler, or the lock solenoid is going bad.
