1996 Jeep Cherokee obd2 code p0340

I have a 96 cherokee 4.0 4wd 47,300mi . my check engine light is on and my jeep starts and drive but them shuts down as i am driving. i used my code scaner obd2 and i get this code P0340 camshaft position sensor A circuit ( bank 1 or single sensor) I REPLACED THE DISTRIBUTOR PICK-UP OR STATOR and now it will not start al all!! in the least 5 weeks i replaced the battery, both o2 sensors, crack sensor. i have been out of work for almost a year now , and i finely found a job and i start in a week , please i need HELP !!!! if anyone can help please. rob

You need to reopen it and double check everythihg in there -

dealer replaced distributor not oem. distributer from napa , stator looks like disk , easy to install. do i clear code after install? rob

Try erasing it and see if it comes back
