I am getting a whirring noise out of the left rear tire. I just had the brakes/rotors replaced, but the problem did not go away. I had the mechanic drive with me and he suggested it was the some pitting in the bearing. How difficult to replace the bearings or could it be something else? Thanks

A chopped worn tire can give a similiar nosie to a wheel bearing.
