i had a water pump fail on my cherokee sport it has a 4.0 liter v6 and i have replaced the water pump and also the serpentine belt ( broke when pump locked up), and it did run hot for a minute luckily i was very close to a shop, when i got it out of the shop it startyed to run hot again ,replaced thermostat with a 160 degree instead of 190 . my jeep is still running hot ,no coolant leaks anywhere please help ?

Have you flushed the cooling system? Is the engine using coolant? Is the fan clutch working or electric fan working? Does it overheat on the highway or only in town driving?
