seems to have a bad alternator?

Hello,

When the battery does not get charged by the alternator while the engine is running, you will get the low battery light illuminated on the dash.
This can be due to a bad alternator or an issue with the wiring.

First do a alternator test to see the output. It should be producing 13.6V to 15.2V to the battery.
