1996 Jeep Cherokee V6 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 126000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
today, on the freeway, my Jeep started to slightly hesitate while going 65 mph, within a few minutes, that denigrated to not being able to go over 30. Putting it in a lower gear did nothing. Was able to make it another 10 miles home, just wiht hazards on and going 25 mph. Tranny has been replaced roughly 4-5 years back. Does this sound like a tranny or fuel problem?

Do you have check engine light on
And was it blinking
If it was blinking it may be misfiring /fuel
Also your tranny may went in limb mode
If you can get the code s that will help
To pin point the trouble area

If you cycle the key on off three times ending with key on read code p****
Good luck
