My check engine light is own but the jeep is running great what is the problem?

The light is activated by a number of different sensors and data. The computer looks at all the diff sensors in conjunction with each other and if one is out of wack it sets the light. You need to scan the engine and see which code is set. The vehicle may run fine but something was off enough to set a code so it would be safe to have it checked. Autozone does free scans and will let you know what set the code. Get it scanned and get back to us with the code. Hopefully we can help. Thanks Curt
