Unlock driver's door and the alarm goes off. We used to be able to disarm by unlocking the passenger's door.
This last time alarm went off and we can't disarm, tried passenger door, unhooked battery, let it sit untouched for a week, tried everything. Nothing works. Talked to service mgr at Chrysler - said it could be door locks, could be ignition switch or we may need to bypass alarm (take out dash, etc). All very expensive. The car doesn't start, security light is on and when turn the key in ignition-- it only cranks once or twice but wont start.
HELP!!

I hate to say it, but the dealer will only have the proper test equipment to check the system.
