1995 Jeep Cherokee V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

When driving there is a knocking sound. Sounds like it's comming from the passenger side. But when I put on the brakes, it stops. Any ideas of what it might be?

Check the brakes, CV joints, and make sure there are no loose steering components.
