Electrical problem
1995 Jeep Cherokee V8 Four Wheel Drive 185000 miles
Help!!
When I put key in door and unlock alarm goes off.
I try to unlock passenger's door but alarm keeps going off.
I tried to recycle the key in the door locks, both sides, but no luck.
I disconnected the battery and reconnected-- still no work.
The car will not start due to the security systems shutting it down.
Just talk to the dealer, they haven't looked at car yet, they say perhaps we need to buy a new module system and pull the dashboard to install. Very expensive.
Is there a way to disengage the security alarm in this car without spending $1,000?
