Hey, hey, may be your lucky day! I just replaced the Blower switch AND Resistor block on my '96 Jeep Country. The resistor block was located under the passenger side of the dash, right? The blower switch is located on the left side of the heater/AC control panel RIGHT NEXT TO the two control levers that move horizontally - one selects AC, Vent, Heat, Defrost, the other controls the temp. Mix. You'll have to remove the instrument panel bezel (3 screws at the inside top), and the steering wheel tilt adjust lever on the left side of the steering column(it unscrews). You'll also have to remove the bottom half of the "cover" that goes around the ignition switch (2 torx screws). The Bezel will come out, although it may feel slightly like you're forcing it - just patiently work it until it comes out. Then just remove the screws from the smaller panel underneath that holds the blower switch, carefully pull out and unplug the connector on the switch. Sounds complicated, but I've taken the bezel on and off several times.
