transmission fluid pump will not prime up after overhaul. torque convertor checks out good been flushed pump looks good and torque convertor installed correctly. transmission does move at 2000rpm but slowly

Need to have pressures checked to know for sure but I suspect a internal leak in a clutch pack piston or valve body shift valve.
