Hard to say what is happening.

Possible transmission, engine performance or problem mechanical in nature preventing it from first moving.

Does the engine rpms go up when it isn't moving, that is the engine idle raises when you try to move but it doesn't move and then eventually moves?

Are there any noises when it does jump?

Does the engine idle stay the same when you are first trying to move or bogs down somewhat and then it raises quickly and takes off?

Is the transmission fluid full, clean and has not had other fluid than atf+4 used?
