1993 Jeep Cherokee 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

i want to disconnect the alarm system. my remote no longer works so if i lock the doors and then use the key to unlock the door it sets off the alarm. I want to disconnect the alarm so I don't have to ever worry about it again.

is there an easy way to discconnect the alarm?

Actually, you will need to see your dealer to have that done. Certain wires in the system need grounded. If you ground the wrong one, you will be purchasing a new PCM.
