my jeep is stuck in 4x4. It won't come out of it. It drives constantly on 4x4 and I don't know what to do. That will ruin the engine correct?

See my profile.......If you check owner man. it will prob. say, "NO DRIVEY in 4X4 on HARD SURFACES".......Not about engine.......ABOUT DRIVETRAIN BINDING (since wheels cannot slip/ like on dirt) Over time/ miles on hard surface Drivetrain components wear/ break. Get fixed soon.........Ideas who to see starting w/ FREE-------auto parts store----salvage yard (ma+pop type)--------4X4 store-----High school/ Tech school auto mechs. shop (fee???/parts)-------Then onto pay shops.
