Transmission problem
1992 Jeep Cherokee 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

my transmission just had drip coming from the bottom of the bellhousing where the inspection plates bolts on. So I pulled transmission and replaced the front pump seal or input seal. When I removed the torque converter the old seal and a bushing for the pump came off with it. So went to tranny shop got new bushing. Replaced everything. Put trans. Back in. Now I have a steady stream of fluid. Its way worse than before. Can u help please? Also, the shaft part of the torque converter didnt look worn in any spots and the front shaft looked fine. I thought maybe I had wrong seal cause of the parts store asking if ihade overdrive which I dont. I have put three different seals. The last one I matched with model number on transmission. Just getting really tired of ttaking trans. In and out.

If the front pump bushing came out, you may have bigger problems than just a leak. That bushing should be driven into the pump and should never just come out with a bushing. Take the trans to a shop and have them look at it, shouldnt be too expensive since you are bringing them the trans
