The key has been hard to turn and now it is stuck in the key lock assembly, fortunately with the car off. My daughter just called and she is about 400 miles from home and wants to know what to do...

HI there,

You may be able to work the key loose after giving it a short spry with a lube or dry graphite if you have it, slowly work the key but don't go to hard or it will break off in the lock and that will not be good.
