My brake paddle makes a hissing sound when i push on it. there's plenty of brake fluid. and the brake paddle goes almost to the floor. what should i do?

sounds like an internal leak in the master cylinder, push the brakes on with the vehicle off and hold it down with about the force to push 100pound with your feet and hold it, does pedal slowly go down or stay high?
