hello my jag has a hesitation on hard accelaration from a stop the engine light is on and some time the restricted performance comes on some time.

Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis, finding out what's going on.

WELL DID BRING IT TO GARAGE THEY CHANGE FUEL FILTER AND THE CODE READING SHOWED TWO CODES FIRST ONE PO171 THEY SAID BANK 1 LEAN, THE SECOND CODE SAID PO174 BANK 2 LEAN CAN SOMEONE HELP ME BY SAYING WHAT I HAVE TO DO THANKS.

Lean fuel condition could be caused by one of the following below:

1. Vacuum leaks
2. EGR and PCV valve.
3. Low fuel pressure.
4. Dirty fuel injectors.
5. Mass Air Flow Sensor.
