2000 Jaguar XJS no heat

Blower fan works, but no warmth. Have been advised could be fluid valve or thermostat. Have also had trouble with door panel control get very hot. Could two things be related?

Try replacing the thermostat with the correct temp range for a start and then comeback

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
