Georgous car.

Look for a screw on the fob and remove it. There will be a battery that will have a number on it. Typically they are something that can be bought at a parts store and sometime a drug store. Looks like a watch battery. Should be easy enough to pop out and replace. Hopefully it works at this point.

Unfortunately I have no data concerning this so I am talking in a generic sense that applies to most fobs.

I replaced the key fob battery with a Duracell 12 volt MN21/23 battery. It's not a watch battery but rather has the diameter of a AAA battery but is much shorter. After I opened the fob I found the bettery contacts on the chip inside were rather corroded so I cleaned them with an electrical contact cleaner before replacing the battery. Closing the key fob case requires some care to make sure everything inside is properly seated. After replacing the two screws I started the car with the key and then found that the remote works perfectly. You have my permission to use this information in the future.
