1995 Jaguar XJS Fuel Guage

I have a fuel guage that does not work properly. I have just replaced the in tank sending unit and I still have the same problem. Can I remove the fuel guage from my dash to send out for a repair? I so can you provide any instructions on how to remove the guage from the dash cluster?

INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
Removal & Installation (Instrument Panel Module)
Disconnect battery ground. Move tilt steering column to lowest possible position. Remove instrument panel bezel securing screws, and remove central and side bezels. Remove instrument panel-to-fascia screw cover plates and screws. Ease panel forward for access and disconnect multiplugs. Remove instrument panel. To install, reverse removal procedure. See Fig. 2 through Fig. 4.

Removal & Installation (Instrument Printed Circuit)
Remove instrument panel. Place a protective cover on work bench and position instrument panel face down on cover. Remove illumination bulbs and printed circuit securing nut rubber covers. Remove printed circuit-to-instrument panel securing nuts, and remove printed circuit from instrument panel. To install, reverse removal procedure. See Fig. 5.
NOTE:Ensure printed circuits are not torn or deformed.
