Driving along, tach drops to Zero, stalls 5 seconds, comes back 1 or 2 times, then dies completely. After it cools down, runs OK until I get tow-truck distance from home.

ECU? Ignition amplifier(s)?

Local dealer hit me for $350.00 replaced light bulbs and light relay - 5 miles, same problem.

Thank you for the donation, much appreciated. Check for spark after vehicle has cut out .. if you have no spark replace ignition amplifier and coil .. if you do have spark, the fuel pump may be getting too hot and cutting out, so check you are getting fuel ?
