Engine Performance problem
1989 Jaguar XJS V12 Two Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
I have an XJS that appears to run OK but gets about 8 mpg. Engine hunts a little at idle and at low RPM. Has a smell of fuel but appears to have no leaks. Starts first time and has pretty good acceleration when compared with a friends XJS. Fuel pressure has been checked and is perfect. Cooling indications are low on the gauge but it appears to be running around 85 deg at normal running when measured with a meter.
Can I check the computer inputs for correct voltages from engine sensors etc?
Thanks
Pete
