Hi there,

There is an old dictum in the motor trade, "If it isn't broken, don't touch it" The V12 motor is a superbe piece of engineering, Yes it leaks oil, but that part of the charm of owing a British motor. In all reality if it is working well, why go to all that stress and cost to do a conversion, may be if the motor is in need of attention, then look at a conversion, as the V12 will be expensive to fix if something fails. I have seen a few XJ6 motors slotted into the 12's and they go alright. Have a good think about what you want and how much money you want to spend, as any conversion will not be cheap.
