Hello, I'm considering buying a 99 Jaguar XJR. The owner has disclosed that after driving for 10-20 minutes, steam and a funny smell will come out of a rubber hose on the top of the engine. Can you give me some ideas what may be going wrong with it? I inspected the hoses and clamps, they seem to be good and fixed solidly.
